Business Workshop For Teens
Welcome to the amazing world of business! Whether you know nothing about what makes our economic system work, or the political powers behind the business decisions of our nation, or simply wish to define such mind-boggling terms like a mortgage, a bank loan, a creditor or an investor, stocks, bonds, and taxes – this workshop is designed with you in mind! So relax, sit back and enjoy as we take you through the challenging glossary terms, ideas and topics on the way to making you more savvy and intellectually-empowered! Free of charge event includes meals & refreshments.

Are you artsy? Do you have what it takes to make a masterpiece? But even if you don't, we don't judge. Your parents will. Draw/make/create a picture, an object, etc. that symbolizes the meaning, the essence and the mission of Little Wings Foundation, Inc.
Come to the above address on June 7, 2015 at 5pm, to display your inordinate creations and don't forget to bring your parents. They will serve as your judges in selecting the best piece. And just to make them more susceptible to a "yes" than a "no", we will host lots of yummy bites and sips so that all can relax, shmoose and enjoy. The best selected picture will receive a prize and will be displayed for a year on our website and facebook page. Do not worry if you think your doodle won't cut it. We accept all styles of art including abstract. But seriously, the only thing that matters is your participation and having fun. ● Resources on scholarships from foundations and other grant-makers
● The application process, including tips on how to make your application successful.

State Assembly members Nily Rozic or Michael Simanowitz will discuss locating funds for parochial schools and financial support to pay for services for children with disabilities.
Andrew Brokman, Deputy Director of Outreach, NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs, will advise parents how to determine if they are eligible for up to $10,000 in earned income tax credits (EITC).
KimTrigoboff, Attorney at Law, will talk about planning for the future and special needs of your love ones.
